Sustainability
Our Approach
The solution for a more sustainable business
Euro Steel business philosophy is guided by the 3Ps principle: Planet, People & Profit. A sustainable approach that does not renounce to Profit, but focuses on respect for the Planet and for People.
When a company manages to turn waste material into a resource, creates benefit for the community and the environment. Safeguarding the planet by recovering and reusing what already exists means working for a better future. For everyone.

Sustainability Report
As modern alchemists of special alloys, we have committed ourselves – and we are committed – to making our planet an even more precious place each and every day.
Who would have thought that transforming industrial waste could eventually be so thrilling?
We are proud to present to you our first Sustainability Report relative to the year 2022, where colour green is the true protagonist for a future brighter than ever before.
Collaboration
Practical Community
Enterprises Leading Change
We are a group made up of business entities that have decided to collaborate in order to create a positive impact on the communities in which they live, through the implementation of projects and initiatives focused on sustainable development — environmentally, socially and culturally.
We believe in a world where collaboration and sharing of knowledge and information are the fundamental pillars for creating long-term value.
Our Philosophy
Being Sustainable Is A Philosophy
Euro Steel Srl adopts responsible choices in terms of safeguarding the planet, paying particular attention to sustainability in every action. From production processes to office furniture, respecting the environment is what directs our choices and guides our company.
Our Values
Ethical By Choice
The experience that Euro Steel gained in the field of scrap metal trading has made it increasingly aware and attentive of environmental issues. Choosing local suppliers and optimizing our processes, we are committed to ensuring the best highest quality possible with minimal environmental impact.
Eco-Friendly
A Website As Light As A Feather
Did you know the digital world accounts for 3% of global carbon dioxide emissions? That’s why we decided to design an eco-friendly website, making it simple and light, and mitigating the (few) emissions by planting an Aleppo Pine in a Puglian forest. Thanks to the CO2 captured and the oxygen released by our tree, our website reduces the impact of emissions.

Circular economy for metals: how Euro Steel turns scrap into resources
For Euro Steel, sustainability is the business model itself. Recovering superalloy and special steel scrap and feeding it back into the supply chain reduces the use of virgin raw materials and the environmental impact of the metals industry.
The 3P principle
- Planet: protecting the planet by recovering and reusing what already exists
- People: creating benefits for the community through responsible choices
- Profit: a sustainable approach that does not give up on profit
How the cycle works
Production scrap from machine shops and from the aeronautical, aerospace, turbine and petrochemical industries is collected, sorted and analysed in our laboratory. It then becomes secondary raw material for foundries and steelworks, or goes back as semi-finished products to the same machine shops it came from. Our waste management services complete the process.
Frequently asked questions about sustainability
Why is superalloy recycling important?
Superalloys contain valuable and critical metals such as nickel, cobalt, molybdenum and tungsten. Recovering them reduces virgin raw material extraction, energy use and industrial waste.
Does Euro Steel publish a sustainability report?
Yes. Euro Steel published its first sustainability report, covering 2022.
What does circular economy mean for a metals company?
It means designing the cycle so that the scrap from one process becomes the raw material for another. At Euro Steel, scrap goes back to foundries or to machine shops as semi-finished products.
