Euro Steel buys and sells stainless, duplex and PH steels, both as semi-finished products and as production scrap, for steelworks, foundries and machine shops in the petrochemical, aerospace and Oil & Gas sectors, in Italy and abroad. We specialise in high nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys such as vacuum superalloys, but we handle materials and alloys of many different compositions.

Stainless steels resist oxidation and corrosion thanks to chromium, which forms a protective passive layer on the surface. Depending on the grade, nickel, molybdenum and other elements improve resistance in aggressive environments, toughness or strength.

Stainless steel semi-finished products and scrap
We supply stainless steel as prime and secondary-grade semi-finished products: bars and special forgings, plates and flat products and pipes. We also buy production scrap and turnings to feed back into the supply chain. Every batch is checked with XRF and spectrometric analysis in our laboratory in Roncadelle (Brescia, Italy), and certificates are available on request.

What is the difference between AISI 304 and AISI 316?
AISI 316 contains molybdenum, which makes it more resistant than AISI 304 to chloride corrosion and to marine and chemical environments.
